As a little girl, Alison was surrounded by artists in her family, so it was a natural step for her to find a love of photography very early. She tried her hand at a course as a Sophomore in High School and immediately found herself winning state-wide competitions, which only drove her to love photography even more. She knew she wanted to make photography her full-time gig even then, but didn't know how until she became a stay-at-home mom with her daughter. She gave herself a 1 year deadline to make it happen, so she dove in head first. In February of 2006 she rented a booth at a bridal festival with photos of her daughter and her dog as her portfolio. She asked EVERY person that walked by her booth to take a chance on her because she knew it was her destiny... She booked 14 weddings from that festival and never looked back! Since that fateful day, she has won many international awards such as through the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association), Two Bright Lights (Editors choice), WeddingWire (Brides choice),
Fearless Photographers, named on of the top 50 photographers in the US by Weddzilla, and top 20 photographers in Denver by Bridebox. She has been honored to photograph destination weddings in Italy, Mexico, and other US states and has also had the opportunity to work with a few Denver Broncos (Von Miller, Emmanuel Sanders, and Melvin Gordon) and Colorado Rockies players (Kyle Freeland).
